- Since 1993, Faccios family, a dedicated team of wine lovers has carried out a process of research and development, combining modern technology and traditional know-how to produce wines that best transmit the characteristics of their terroir. This is one of Andrea's flagship wines, and is produced using grapes from the most special vineyard sites only. After a soft destemming, the traditional skin-contact maceration begins. It lasts for 10-12 days. This process is followed by the first racking at the end of which the malolactic fermentation starts. The refining lasts for about 4-5 months and is carried out in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. After the bottling, the wine rests for a short period in lay-down bottles inside the cellars, until it reaches perfection.
Full and fruity, fresh and generous, it exalts the typical characteristics of the Barbera. Its sweet and soft tannins, lead to a soft and persistent finish. Thanks to its typical structure, it can be appreciated both in the first year after the harvest and after a short ageing.
