- Each bottle is a unique colour. River Rock use the excess glass that is created when glass makers change colour, which normally goes to waste
- As well as using otherwise wasted glass, the bottle is 100% recyclable, using no fancy foils or inks
- River Rock work with the John Muir Trust to ensure that for every bottle of their whiskies sold, they plant a native tree in Scotland on Schiehallion

One of the core differences of the brand is they are trying to be as sustainable as possible. What that means on glass colour is they take the glass that everyone throws away between makes . So when a glass manufacturer is moving from green glass to flint ( or the other way round ) the glass is thrown away . Working with Allied glass we have agreed to take that glass - so every bottle is unique and a slightly different colour.
