This is a fully bodied wine with a good tannin structure with a palate full of stone fruits and dried apricots and orange peel. Its finished with spices and a touch of honey.
- Matrobela's Qvevri Rkatsiteli (100%) is grown in the appellation Tsinandali, Kakheti region. This wine is produced in the ancient Georgian method, in Qvevri, beeswax-coated terracotta pots buried in the earth. The wine is fermented spontaneously by wild yeasts with five months skin contact and is unfiltered.
