- The history of Porello dates back to the middle of the 18th century, and they are still family run to this day. It was in the mid 30's when things became more serious, and Cesare Porello began to stabilise and build the business. Surviving through the war and following period was difficult, but the family achieved it through their tenacity and deciation. Today Porello produce interesting and diverse wines, and work everything by hand.
Technically this is 'partially fermented grape must, and cannot qualify as wine (wine must have a minimum of 5.5% abv). This is delicious! A spritzy palate that is full of bright summer berries and a natural sweetness. Something different and well worth trying.
