JIM MURRAY'S WHISKY BIBLE -90 POINTS - 'Marmalade on sightly burnt toast, beautiful, sweet fruit, mainly pears, and then a dash of soft rye and an edge of saltiness, some honey as a side-dish; softly spiced, oaky, busy start; then a powerful delivery of natural toffee. A playfully biting, tastebud-nipping character tries to add momentum; chocolate toffee balances out the vanilla and ensures a dry, slightly oily and long finish; the best aroma from the JBB Small Batch selection; softer on the tastebuds than the previous bottlings, but still a power player.'
