The Glenmorangie Company was founded in 1843 by Roederick Mackdonald and Alexander Muir. Today it is one of the most respected and well known Scottish Whisky brands the world over. The two main brands are Glenmorangie Highland single malt whisky and Ardbeg Islay single malt whisky. The two distilleries owned by the company are Glenmorangie, based in Tain in the Highlands and Ardbeg on the island of Islay.
Glenmorangie is world renowned for its handcrafted quality Malt. This came after it launched an ambitious campaign focusing on the quality of Glenmorangie, leading the way as a premium single malt throughout the world.
