The Frog’s Leap winery sits amongst 130 acres of vineyards in Rutherford. This grand and welcoming building was built in 1884 as the Adamson Winery and renovated in 1994 as Frog’s Leap’s permanent home. Using the best of Napa Valley's organically grown grapes and traditional winemaking techniques, the winemaking team strive to produce wines that deeply reflect the soils and climate from which they emanate. Growing grapes to strict organic principles, Frog’s Leap are today one of the most respected producers in the Napa Valley with an annual production of around 60,000 cases.

A fine, elegantly structured wine with layers of fruit and forest flavours backed up with spicy tannins. Perfect with red meats, game or poultry and strongly flavoured sauces.

Press:
'John Williams, one of the wisest winemakers in Napa, cultivates old-school zinfandel. Restrained and subtle, it has high acidity, making it a great food-pairing wine. This has pungent blackberry and cherry fruit, with a long, pleasing finish.' - Will Lyons, The Times, November 2017

'Looking for a more restrained style? This dry-farmed Zinfandel is kept in check through co-fermentation with Carignan and Petite Sirah. At once attractively lively and herbal while maintaining Zinfandel's bouncy berry fruit profile. American oak lingers but resolves with a few years of bottle age.' - Matt Stamp, Decanter, May 2016
