- Other Info:
- Made from grapes harvested at Martin's Lane Vineyard in the Crouch Valley in Essex. After harvest the grapes were transported to the winery in Minster Lovell where they were fermented 90% in stainless steel and 10% in sandstone amphora. A touch of residual CO2 was left in the wine to contribute freshness and crisp texture. The wine was bottled with minimal sulphur additions and closed under Diam 3 cork.
Made ultra-locally in Minster Lovell, this Bacchus has aromas and flavours of citrus, pear, a little almond blossom, pine nuts, some minerality, and a hint of aromatic herbs. It is a clean, fresh, linear wine with a bit of 'zip', an elegant subtlety, and a good mouthfeel.
