- Other Info:
- Domaine des Tourelles was founded in 1868 by a French adventurer named Francois-Eugene Brun. It was the first commercial cellar in Lebanon.
In the year 2000 the last of the Brun family sadly died, and the estate was bought by close family friends the Issas. Faouzi Issa has excellent winemaking credentials, having studied at Montpellier and Bordeaux, and trained in Cote Rotie and Chateau Margaux.
This wine is made up of 78% Viognier, 18% Chardonnay and 4% Muscat of Alexandria.
It is rich and perfumed, with a hint of spice and good stone fruit flavours. It will stand up well to full flavoured food!
