Having acquired fantastic sites in Quarts de Chaume as well as the remarkable Clos du Papillon in Savennières, Baumard has crafted some of the best wines from France.
The Domaine practices sustainable viticulture.
Pear, almond and white flowers on the nose. A rich palate of zesty citrus and ripe exotic fruits follows, with stony minerality and firm acidity.
- 'Aromas of herb-infused honey and evolved fruit with an intriguing smoky, mineral note. The palate shows dried leaves, soft apricots and toasty almond. Drink 2017-2022' Decanter Magazine, February 2017
