This elegant, crisp and dry Pinot Grigio Blush comes from grapes grown in the North East of Italy, it has delicate aromas of summer fruits and bursts with flavours of strawberry and raspberry. The pink hue comes from the brief contact with the darker skins of the Pinot grape as they ripen in late Autumn.
A first class grape variety grown in Alsace, where it is known as Tokay Pinot Gris, and in Italy, where it is called Pinot Grigio. Pinot Grigio comes into its own in Friuli-Venezia and the Alto Adige, where leading producers make marvellously rounded, elegant, and mineral laden examples.
