Château Malmaison, located in the Moulis en Médoc appellation, is one of the oldest wineries in the Médoc, with vines being cultivated there since the Middle Ages. The property adjacent to Château Clarke was acquired in 1973 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Under his leadership, the vineyard was redesigned, and the buildings completely renovated. He then named this wine in honour of his wife, Baroness Nadine de Rothschild.
