After spending time in the traditional oak casks this whisky is left to finish in casks once used to age Amarone wine from Veneto. Careful monitoring from Master Distiller, James MacTaggart, ensures perfect complimenting between the rich fruity flavours from the wine cask and the sweet malty flavours of the whisky. Bright aromas of cherry and honey mingle with dark chocolate and Turkish Delight.
