Made from fruit grown towards the south of Aloxe Corton, in the 'Crapousuets' single vineyard.
Albert Bichot have exercised great care to bring out the unique characteristics of the micro-climate in this exquisitely aromatic Pinot Noir.
This wine shows sumptuous red fruit, a heady note of forest floor, and a well judged spice.
Drink this the next time you make a Coq-au-Vin (but we suggest something else goes in the pot!).

Our Aloxe-Corton develops aromas with a dominant of wild woodland fruit (redcurrant and blackberry with floral nuances (lilies and jasmine). With a very supple tannic structure, this well-balanced wine has lovely pleasant velvety tannins with just a hint of sweetness. The finish is long and aromatic, reminiscent of the fruity aromas of the nose.

Bichot practise sustainable viticulture, based on observation, prevention and paying attention to the complex balances found in nature. The soil is maintained responsibly, it is judiciously ploughed and fertilized using organic matter. They also encourage manual labour that boosts the plants' natural defenses.
