THIS MONTH'S OFFER
Two wines from one of France's most exciting regions: Good investment combined with fewer restrictive regulations make the Languedoc a great place to be making wine at the moment. There is a real energy among producers who are making slick, interesting wines which often represent excellent value for money for the consumer. One such estate is Château Belles Eaux, once owned by the famous Château Pichon-Longueville of Bordeaux.
Mas Belles Eaux, Les Coteaux 2012 - £11.75 This Syrah-dominated blend shows notes of dark fruit laced with spice. Its inky dark colour, smooth tannins and full body make it perfect for colder winter evenings.
Château Belles Eaux Grenache Blanc 2016 - £11.50 If you haven't been drinking much Grenache Blanc in the past, now is time to start. This grape variety has a wonderful stone fruit character, with pretty floral notes - just gorgeous.
