Premium Olive Oil Tasting

This was a tasting that we had had a number of requests for and when Ted and I met Nancy Gilchrist MW we soon realized that she was seriously passionate about olive oil as well as wine - the perfect person to present an olive oil tasting! Her enthusiasm really shone through in the tasting. Nancy took us through the oil producing process very thoroughly whist making the subject matter very accessible to all in the room. There was clearly a lot of interest with many people asking questions and Nancy was more than able to answer all of them. This was an in-depth tasting that left us all feeling we had learnt much and now knew the basics of recognising quality in the 6 different oils that we tasted - all of which had been made by wine producers. All in all a really different and fascinating tasting.
