The factory was first established in 1935 and is named after the Dumas novel 'The Count of Montecristo'. This was the favourite novel of the Torcedores (cigar rollers).
As with all serious and top quality cigars everything here is done by hand. Selected filler and binder leaves are sourced from the Vuelta Abajo zone.
Probably to most recognisable of all the Havana brands with a reputation for quality.
The Edmundo (named after Edmundo Dantes, the hero of Dumas' novel) is a must for any cigar afficionado.
