Interests: Walking my dog in beautiful countryside, travelling, especially in wine country, drinking good wine with good friends, spending time with my family, skiing, cycling, swimming & watching good live music!
Likes: Portuguese; Languedoc; and good Riesling, a sunny day in May, my gorgeous wife & courtesy and good manners!
Disikes: Beaujolais Nouveau, inexpensive and poor red burgundy, too much oak in my Rioja, traffic jams especially in Oxford, the month of February, the clock change at the end of October & buying Christmas presents.
If you could be served any food/dish, what would it be?: Curry! or Thai food authentically cooked.
If you were a wine, which one would it be?: A Reserva Rioja. Plenty of fruit, not too much oak, smooth, elegant, with still some time to age.
What do you like about working for the Oxford Wine Company?: Autonomy, independence, and serving the local community.
What is your most diverse achievement?: Travelling extensively in many different continents.
Which are your most favoured wines?: Torres Coronas Black Label, old Vouvray, good Languedoc, dry Riesling.
