A fruity rustic nose is followed by a soft deepish sweet tinged palate of black cherry and raspberry. A superbly soft and velvety, full bodied wine from the negroamaro grape variety that is always very popular. This is a classic wine to enjoy with the rich sauces so often found in Italian cuisine or perfect with pasta or pizza. The colour is intense ruby red. The wine has pepper and spicy notes on the nose but dry and velvety on the palate.
