- Other info: The Kintu wines come from the beautiful Maule valley where the low high and plains have been so important for the growth of viticulture over the past 200 years. These approachable varietals have an easy-drinking style popular in the UK and are excellent value so should be considered for inclusion in the entry level sections of most wine lists. Maule benefits from a cooling ocean breeze and misty mornings that help the grapes to maintain their natural acidity whilst attaining full ripeness. Since the land is easy to farm and labour costs in Chile are relatively low, the Kintu wines are commercially attractive and worth consideration for inclusion in the entry level section on any wine list. Both wines are attractively presented with a screwtop enclosure, making them perfect for restaurants wishing to offer customers wine by the glass.
