- Other info: The Cortello wines are made in the Estremadura region of Portugal, one of the largest wine producing areas in the country, yet very capable of producing high quality wines. Down here in the south of Portugal, the country's indigenous grape varieties Arinto and Fernao Pires cope with the heat to produce an intriguing yet satisfying dry white wine. The flavours are subtly exotic and there is a piquant undertone, making it a good partner to fish and shellfish and notably, spicy food.
