The vines are 15 years old and are planted on south facing slopes, ideal for the Merlot grape variety. After a controlled low temperature fermentation in stainless steel the wine was aged in a mixture of new and old French oak for 18 months creating a delightfully rich style with flavours of plum and cedar wood.
