- Other info: The beginnings of Nuiton-Beaunoy can be traced back to 1957, when, during a period of internal conflict in Burgundy some producers decided to work together and try to unify the region. Over the following few years they succeeded in bringing an end to these problems, and both Nuiton-Beaunoy, and the rest of Burgundy turned their full attentions back to wine and wine alone. Today, Nuiton-Beaunoy brings together 115 associated winegrowers from the Côtes and the Hautes-Côtes, The total vineyard area is some 520 hectares, representing an average production of 25,000 hectolitres of wine per year. Thanks to these men and women who cultivate vines rooted in a multitude of terroirs, Nuiton-Beaunoy draws from a wealth of terrain allowing an almost infinite range of expression to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
