Bardolino, Cantina di Custoza

Cantina di Custoza is a co-operative that was established in 1968 and is located to the south of Lake Garda. Their excellent Bardolino is made from from the Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grape varieties that produce lovely flavours of black cherry that is clean and refreshing. A lovely and typical wine from this region. Rich, fragrant, damson fruit on the nose. Could be drunk slightly chilled and would be great with fish or rice dishes or for general quaffing. 11.5% vol.

- Other info: The grapes are harvested from 8 to 15 year old vines in vineyards located in Bardolino, Lazise and S.Giorgio in Salice. They are then fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks with partial malolatic fermentation and there the wine remains for a period of 5 months for ageing.
