Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, Moscatel de Setubal
Ref. 0765
Produced entirely from the Muscatel grape and after a short fermentation period selected vinic 'aguardente' (firewater) is added. Followed by a period of post-fermentation maceration of the skins with the wine during the winter months after the harvest. Finally the wine is aged for a minimum of 3 years in oak casks. The length and nature of the ageing process produces a topaz-coloured generous wine with intense aromas of muscatel orange blossom tea and raisins possessing a smooth sweet and fresh taste. To be drunk chilled as an aperitif or as a dessert wine.
