This classical dry Champagne is a blend of two-thirds black grapes for body, balanced with one-third Chardonnay for elegance. It has a fine persistent sparkle and golden Champagne colour. Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label is a perfect example of harmony between delicacy and power. Dominated by Pinot Noir, this wine has a firm structure, rounded with a touch of Pinot Meunier. Nearly a third of Chardonnay gives it the elegance and finesse needed for perfect balance. A blend of fifty crus, mainly Grands and Premiers Crus. Consistent quality due to 25 to 35% of reserve wines.

- Other info: 382 hectares of vineyards are exploited by Clicquot, which although widely distributed are predominantly in the Grande Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, including plots in twelve grand cru sites. This is a considerable estate, but such is the Champagne business that it provides only a quarter of Clicquot's needs, the rest being purchased from growers who are under long-term contract. Much of the fruit harvested will of course be destined for the 'Yellow Label' Brut Non-Vintage, the most recognisable wine in the portfolio with its distinctive orange label.
