150cl Dom Pérignon Vintage
Ref. 0266
Moët et Chandon's top champagne. This world famous product is dry and rich with intense flavour. Acacia honey and fresh almonds on the nose whilst dried apricots and toasted brioche combine on the long finish.
- Colour: Sparkling
- Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
- Vintage: 2002
- Alcohol: 12.5%
- Other info: Not content with the painstaking selection of only Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, and over and above the exclusive choice of plots offering the very best soils and perfect exposure, Dom Pérignon categorically insists on choosing only the best harvests and thereafter, on a long, slow ageing of the wine on its lees. Harvests that lack the potential to fully express the elusive Dom Pérignon style, will be left out.

- Press: JANCIS ROBINSON - 'I thought it worth alerting you to the fact that this seems to me to be the best Dom P since at least 1990 and probably long before...this cuvée is extraordinarily open and ripe already - it hits the palate with such force it is easy to confuse its ripeness with sweetness but then, in Dom P style, it tightens up immensely and finished with great race and refreshing dryness. The nose initially suggests something headily fragrant - lilies perhaps - but then develops in the glassy to be much meatier and denser. But it took a glass 24 hours to develop the tight-knit, bready autolysis that is characteristic of most Dom Pérignon vintages, which suggests to me that this wine, while being super-welcoming, will also have a very long life ahead of it.'
