- Three Choirs started life in 1973 when Alan McKechnie, a local wine merchant, started harvesting grapes grown on his fruit farm. Over the years, the 1/5ha has grown to 30ha of vineyard area, planted with a mix of traditional and modern grape varieties. Three Choirs was even the first English vineyard to win a gold medal at Vinexpo in Bordeaux!
A light to medium bodied red wine with a lovely ruby red colour. Aromas of cherries and blackcurrant and just a hint of oak.
