Struck by the suitability of Sweden to whisky production, the team behind Mackmyra wondered why nobody had tried it out before them. Now, after twenty years, Mackmyra still produce their whisky with the same spirit of discovery and experimentation as when they started out.

Mackmyra employ traditional whisky-making methods together with Swedish ingredients to create a unique range of products. Put together by master blender Angela D’Orazio, the malts take advantage of the sweet Swedish barley, crystal clear water (some of the world’s purest), and spicy local oak. Low environmental impact is key to Mackmyra’s approach, and in 2011, having grown out of their previous premises, they moved into their current Gravity Distillery – the world’s most climate-smart distillery.

Join us for a tasting from this innovative producer, featuring members of the core Mackmyra range as well as one or two limited edition bottlings.
