Vina Indomita is a young and dynamic winery set up in the early 2000's to be at the forefront of Chilean winemaking and vine exploration. Led by the exciting young winemaker Roberto Carranca, Indomita are investing heavily into research to discover the best combinations of grapes and soils.
Indomita hold 400 hectares of vines in the Maipo Valley. These vineyards are dedicated entirely to red grape varieties. In the Casablanca Valley there are 200 hectares solely for white varieties. This is done in the belief that these regions suit these varieties and produce higher quality fruit and therefore better wine. The winery is situated in Casablanca, 80 km from Santiago and just 40 km from Valparaiso, the main export harbour in Chile.
Indomita are both young and dynamic. They are pushing the boundaries of Chilean winemaking and are capable of producing everything from simple every day gluggers to exceptional and complex wines .
The Nostros range is particularly good from this producer. The wines are great for every day drinking but offer a real sense of quality and give just that little bit more character and complexity.
