It has its origins in the valley of the River Lima but now very prolific in the Vinho Verde DOC. Capable of producing fresh wines with aromas of orange, lime blossom and acacia. On the palate you will find flavours of apple and peach alongside a well balanced acidity. It is traditionally bottled as part of a blend with Arinto, Trajadura e Alvarinho but you can find great single varietal examples.
